The Recovery from Addictions Program (RAP) operated by the Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Trades Worker. The successful candidate will be assigned varied tasks to assist trades workers in performing their duties across various trades such as plumbing, electrical, painting, locksmith, garage, and carpentry. Responsibilities include performing routine trade-related maintenance and repair, maintaining machinery, equipment, and tools, and potentially assisting in the transportation of personnel and patients. The role also involves installing glass, replacing floor covering, and performing other related work as required. This is a 40-hour per week position with day shift hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and days off on Sunday and Saturday. The incumbent will be on call during inclement weather events.
