About The Position

Vanguard is seeking a Trade Management Product Manager to lead technical product management activities for multiple technical products or one strategic technical product. This role involves participating in the design and continuous improvement of technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance client experience, and coaching technical product teams. The Product Manager will ensure effective messaging, communication, and customer outreach, partner with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues, and support escalations for rapid delivery. Key responsibilities include leading the planning, development, and implementation of new technical products, defining and analyzing technical markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and creating implementation plans. The role also requires employing qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to improve user experience, participating in ongoing business planning and prioritization, and engaging in the team’s engineering practices such as development, continuous integration, and automated deployment. Special projects and other duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
Minimum of five years related work experience.
Deep understanding of investment operations and post-trade processes, systems, and operational workflows required.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Nice To Haves

Graduate degree preferred.
Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads technical product management activities for multiple technical products, or one strategic technical product.
Participates in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
Coaches technical product teams towards best practices and learnings.
Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
Leads the planning, development and implementation of new technical products.
Defines and analyzes technical markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
Participates in the team’s engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
