About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Trade Floor Support - Onsite - position with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves providing technical assistance and rapid issue resolution for trading systems, hardware, and applications used by front-office personnel on a trading floor. The ideal candidate will ensure minimal downtime and maintain compliance with operational standards in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience supporting trading platforms, financial systems, or high-pressure environments
Knowledge of market data applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or ICE
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, scripting, and basic networking
Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Responsibilities

Provide real-time technical support for traders and front-office staff, resolving issues related to trading platforms, market data feeds, hardware, and network connectivity
Monitor the health and performance of trading systems and escalate incidents as needed
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and networking teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems
Document recurring issues and contribute to the creation of support guides and knowledge bases
Ensure minimal downtime and maintain compliance with operational and regulatory standards
