About The Position

UPS is seeking a dependable Driver/Dockworker for a dual-role position handling the pickup, loading, transportation, and delivery of freight and packages. The role involves operating tractor-trailer units and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to support terminal and delivery operations while providing professional customer service. All routes return to the home terminal during the same shift. Work hours may include days, nights, and/or weekends depending on operational needs, and schedule flexibility is required. The position is permanent. Applicants must meet the stated licensing, screening, physical ability, professionalism, and work-authorization requirements. Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in the applicant’s home state.
Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement.
Successfully pass a company road test, DOT physical (including a drug screen), and required background checks.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Flexibility to work days, nights, and/or weekends depending on operational needs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a tractor-trailer unit to transport packages and palletized freight to and from residential and commercial properties.
Load, unload, ship, receive, scan, sort, and stock packages and freight at the terminal.
Use Material Handling Equipment, including pallet movers and stand-up forklifts, to manage cargo.
Label shipments accurately and use on-board technology to support delivery efficiency and tracking.
Maintain efficiency, safety, and professionalism at every stop.
Comply with company appearance guidelines and wear the provided uniform.
