About The Position

Alliance Ground International is hiring a tractor trailer driver to transport cargo between aircraft and warehouses at an airport. The role requires a current CDL Class A with hazmat endorsements and daily operation of a tractor trailer to support a busy airport workload. Drivers interact with airline representatives and staff and must follow strict safety regulations. Work takes place in an airport environment and may require schedule flexibility to meet operational demands, including flight delays, cancellations, and ad hoc needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must currently hold a CDL Class A with hazmat endorsements.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of trucking experience with manual transmission.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of ramp operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Leadership ability.
• Customer focus and quality awareness.
• Ability to deal with conflict.
• Must pass a drug test and background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather and in elevated airport noise levels.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules, weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport cargo in a 53-foot trailer from aircraft to a warehouse or from a warehouse to aircraft while following strict safety regulations.
• Interact with airline representatives and staff in a customer-service-oriented manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
