About The Position
Springs Charter Schools is hiring a seasonal high school Track & Field Head Coach at the Magnolia Student Center in Riverside. The coach will teach sportsmanship and teamwork and maintain a kind, positive approach toward athletes, coaches, referees, and spectators. The ideal candidate has a clear understanding of Track & Field, can manage team preparation, and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. A competency test will be administered during recruitment. The position is associated with Springs Charter Schools, whose mission is to empower students by fostering curiosity, engaging parents, and promoting optimal learning through personalized learning programs.
Requirements
- Current Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate or Certificate of Clearance.
- First Aid certification.
- CPR certification; this may be obtained through Springs after hiring.
- CIF concussion certification, required upon hiring.
- Completed EDJOIN application; a resume does not replace the application.
- Letter of Introduction.
- Two Letters of Recommendation.
- Resume.
- Provide supporting education documentation before hire if education is required by the position or claimed on the application.
Nice To Haves
- One year of high school coaching experience in any sport, preferably Track & Field.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A clear understanding of Track & Field.
