About The Position
The Toyota Parts Driver delivers and picks up parts, equipment, and supplies for Norm Reeves Toyota, helping ensure a safe, efficient operation and a positive guest experience. This is an entry-point role for a driver who enjoys providing excellent service. The position is full-time, on-site in San Diego, California, pays $18.50 per hour, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have full-time availability.
- Have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive a company vehicle to complete timely tasks.
- Pick up, deliver, and unload supplies and parts from auto parts stores and other dealerships.
- Keep organized, detailed records of invoices and daily deliveries, and request signatures as needed.
- Keep inventory organized and replenished.
- Notify the parts manager about logistics issues and when the delivery vehicle needs major repairs.
- Keep the vehicle clean and perform routine maintenance, such as filling the gas tank and checking the oil.
- Assist the service department with other duties, including managing guest car drop-offs and pick-ups.
