Tower Climber
About The Position
KCI Technologies is seeking motivated people interested in a telecommunications career. Tower Climbers receive hands-on, state-of-the-art industry training while earning a steady income, and are provided with gear and resources. The role involves working outdoors with hands-on tasks, following safety policies, and collaborating with a team. Travel may be required for weeks at a time, up to 100%, and the employee must be flexible with shift work, including maintenance windows and weekends when needed. Training includes OSHA 10, CPR and First Aid, rigging, RF awareness, electrical safety, ladder safety, safe climbing practices and rescue plans, building materials (BOM, parts and equipment), construction and installation knowledge, quality control and closeouts, and equipment operation. Essential duties are the basic job functions that the employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to maintain required certifications.
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to understand basic computer programs.
- Availability to travel up to 100% for weeks at a time if required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including maintenance windows and weekends if needed.
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment; motor vehicle checks may be required based on position.
