Requirements

Completion of grade 12 education or equivalent
Experience as forklift operator or similar role is an asset
Positive attitude, punctual and strong work ethic; ability to work in a high-performing and fast-paced work environment
Flexibility to work shifts as assigned, including: Saturdays and holidays
Comfort using computers for basics tasks
Basic English communication skills (oral and written)
Strong attention to detail, identifying and sharing continuous improvement opportunities
Ability to work independently, while part of a team

Responsibilities

Working shifts as assigned, arriving on time and ready to work
Receiving tasks in our computer processing system
Picking product and bringing it to designated areas; putting away Long Title bins for storage
Loading and unloading trucks
Working effectively and conscientiously with your team members and being flexible to complete book-handling tasks in various departments as required
Upholding safe and lean work procedures in accordance with Book Depot Inc.’s Health and Safety Program
Maintaining Book Depot Inc.’s standards, productivity and accuracy levels
