About The Position
Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking career-minded, diverse professionals for a Tour Guide position. In this role, you will engage in face-to-face interactions with customers provided by the Marketing Department, eliminating the need for cold-calling or personal expenses. This position requires establishing rapport with prospective and/or current owners and articulating the benefits of vacationing with Travel + Leisure Co. in a high-energy setting.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain CA Real Estate License within 6 months of hire (facilitated and subsidized by the company).
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and professional.
- Active listening skills.
- Ability to consistently achieve minimum production standards.
- Ability to perform general computer skills and work with tablets/smart devices.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (verbal and written).
- Ability to be a team player and work in a team environment within a shared space.
- Ability to overcome objections and perform within a short, luxury sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face presentations in state-of-the-art sales centers at award-winning resorts.
- Find commonality with prospective and/or current owners.
- Communicate the benefits of traveling with Travel + Leisure Co. through establishing rapport, listening, and sharing product benefits.
- Effectively present and deliver the Tour Guide presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance.
- Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings.
- Stay current on Tour Guide information and materials, industry trends, and set/review performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually.
- Articulate the benefits of vacationing with Travel + Leisure Co. and link product benefits to customer vacation goals.
- Demonstrate and maintain a positive and professional attitude in a high-energy environment.
