Part-Time Tour Guide

About The Position
This is a union position. The Tour Guide will conduct groups through Authority plants and visitors centers to provide information on the Authority and its energy sources through tours, lectures and/or demonstrations. Tour guides will also be assigned to perform basic routine maintenance in order to setup and/or disassemble portable exhibitory as needed. May work with and assist Senior Tour Guides.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Minimum one year experience in related communications, public contact or educational/community service employment or equivalent
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to function well under pressure
- Must be available to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Conducts groups through Authority plants and visitors centers to provide information on the Authority and its energy sources through tours, lectures and/or demonstrations.
- Maintains daily newspaper clipping files.
- Performs basic routine maintenance in order to setup and/or disassemble portable exhibitory as needed.
- Works with and assists Senior Tour Guides.
