About The Position
The Tote Builder is responsible for constructing totes from large corrugated boxes and placing them on top of wooden pallets for production use. Tote Builders also help with replacing poly roles for production. This role requires the ability to stand in one area for the duration of the assigned shift, crouch and bend frequently, and lift/push/pull/carry up to 50lbs regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 73lbs with another employee. The position involves working 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, either day or night, and requires availability for overtime when scheduled. The work is seasonal, lasting approximately 6 months.
Requirements

- Must work well with others as a production team.
- Must have reliable/consistent attendance and attention to duties.
- Must work accurately with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work 12 hours per day.
- Must be available for Overtime when scheduled.
- Must be able to work 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts; day or night.
Responsibilities
- Constructing totes from large corrugated boxes and placing them on top of wooden pallets for production use.
- Replacing poly roles for production.
- Developing a working knowledge of production processes.
- Standing in one area for the duration of the assigned shift.
- Crouching and bending frequently throughout the assigned shift.
- Lifting/pushing/pulling and carrying up to 50lbs regularly.
- Lifting (with another employee) up to 73lbs occasionally.
- Working 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts; day or night.
- Reporting deviations from product requirements to supervisors or production leads.
- Stopping production to report any serious deviation from requirements/specifications, or malfunction of line equipment.
- Maintaining area housekeeping.
- Assisting operators with startup, production, change over and shut down of production.
- Performing any other duties assigned by management.
