About The Position

The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a position as a logistics palletizer at our Atlanta-Main facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Home Care and Laundry products. This position is primarily focused on palletizing, with a requirement to learn Forklift Truck Operator (FTO) responsibilities to support material movement as needed. The role involves a 12-hour shift schedule, operating in a 2-2-3 pattern, within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to learn EWM (RF scanning) and forklift operation.
  • Strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Basic mechanical or equipment awareness preferred.
  • Primary focus is palletizing operations.
  • Forklift (FTO) skills are required and will be trained.
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required.
  • Work periods of 12 hr. shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail, able to follow established procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production area for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to operate and maintain equipment.
  • Manual dexterity for handling tools, parts, and machinery components.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to machinery.

Nice To Haves

  • Other transferable skills such as mechanics, maintenance, blow molding, or machine-shop (preferred).
  • Military/Veteran experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor robotic palletizers to build finished goods pallets.
  • Ensure pallets meet quality standards (stable, correct pattern, properly wrapped).
  • Verify labels and product information before releasing pallets in EWM.
  • Clear palletizer faults and keep product flowing from production lines.
  • Stage completed pallets in the correct areas for warehouse pickup.
  • Perform basic cleaning and inspection of palletizing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot palletizer issues and support basic mechanical adjustments.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition and report larger issues.
  • Learn and perform basic preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on palletizing equipment.
  • Confirm finished pallets in EWM using RF scanners.
  • Ensure correct handling unit (HU) and location assignment.
  • Report and help correct any inventory or labeling issues.
  • Maintain accuracy between physical product and system transactions.
  • Learn and become certified to operate a forklift.
  • Move pallets from production to staging or warehouse locations.
  • Support loading, unloading, and material movement as needed.
