About The Position

ANI Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Total Rewards Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of its total rewards strategy, encompassing compensation, benefits, and other related programs. This role involves close collaboration with HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to align rewards programs with business objectives, supporting talent attraction, retention, and performance. The ideal candidate will be a business-oriented rewards leader with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders, managing multiple projects, and utilizing data visualization and AI-enabled analytics to provide insights. The role will focus on evolving the rewards operating model, enhancing decision-making through improved data and tools, and ensuring program compliance and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, liberal arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in total rewards, benefits, compensation, HR, finance, or consulting, with proven ownership of programs and cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and advise leaders with clear, business-oriented recommendations.
  • Comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with benefits management, including working with insurance providers, benefits enrollment, and understanding of benefit offerings.
  • Experience with compensation structures, job evaluation/job architecture, benchmarking, and pay equity analysis.
  • Familiarity with survey tools and sources (e.g., Radford).
  • Strong analytical and data management skills; advanced Excel proficiency is required.
  • Power BI (or similar data visualization tool) experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity and curiosity with AI and generative AI tools for reporting, insights, and communications, with an understanding of appropriate judgment, confidentiality, and review standards.
  • Experience working with HRIS/Payroll systems and cross-functional process design.
  • Preferred experience in Oracle HRIS and ADP.
  • Strong project management, change management, and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • High integrity and discretion in handling confidential employee and business information.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Total Rewards team in operationalizing ANI’s total rewards strategy, ensuring alignment of compensation, benefits, and recognition priorities with business goals, workforce plans, and budgets.
  • Act as a partner to HR Business Partners and business leaders on rewards-related decisions, including offers, promotions, retention strategies, and job architecture, while maintaining competitiveness, internal equity, and pay transparency.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards Snr Director to manage semi-annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity/long-term incentives), including process design, communications, training, and stakeholder management.
  • Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, and pay equity analyses, interpreting external survey data and recommending program/structure changes with demonstrable business impact.
  • Partner with Benefits vendors to assess program design, employee experience, and cost trends, translating insights into actionable recommendations and business cases.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and presentations (dashboards, scorecards, narratives) to inform leadership decisions regarding total rewards investments and outcomes.
  • Utilize AI and advanced analytics to enhance insights and efficiency, such as automating analyses, identifying anomalies in rewards data, and generating draft communications and decision summaries.
  • Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, and Finance to ensure data integrity, process controls, and scalable workflows across systems (Oracle and ADP experience preferred) for accurate reporting and audit readiness.
  • Support compliance and risk management for total rewards, working with Legal to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, ACA) and assist with audits and disclosures.
  • Manage and enhance recognition and engagement programs, evaluating their effectiveness and recommending improvements that align with company culture and performance objectives.
