About The Position

The Total Rewards Analyst is a member of the Westwood Human Capital team and is responsible for the ongoing administration of the organization's benefits, compensation and reward/recognition programs that attract, motivate, and retain highly skilled associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect payroll and compensation operations.
  • Superior interpersonal, organizational and client services skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette with a client focus on “how can I help” approach.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing while interacting with all levels in the company and with third party vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to form relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Exceptional time management abilities with high attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment while working collaboratively in a small team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI Tools a plus
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, communication, and administration of the compensation process for base pay, cash, equity, and mutual fund awards.
  • Assist in the production and distribution of the total reward statements for distribution to employees on an annual basis.
  • Respond to and/or complete salary surveys as needed.
  • Assist with the annual salary structure movement.
  • Assist with developing and updating annual salary ranges.
  • Conduct audits of Compensation related data in UKG Pro.
  • Update the system to reflect appropriate changes and/or communicate needed changes to Director, Total Rewards.
  • Assist in job analysis review and recommendations for all new and revised jobs.
  • Assist in ad hoc compensation analysis as requested by business units.
  • Responsible for daily operational activities of employee benefits administration.
  • Coordinates various aspects of the Benefits programs including health and welfare plans, leave of absence administration, and supplemental voluntary benefits programs in accordance with Westwood policies and procedures.
  • Handle all employee questions regarding their benefit inquiries, claims, audits, legal requests and other projects.
  • Escalate questions as needed.
  • Responsible for the reconciliation and timely processing of vendor invoices.
  • Assist in developing and documenting documents benefit related policies, processes and guidelines.
  • Work with Director, Total Rewards to develop, administer, design or modify existing programs or systems.
  • Design and maintain Total Rewards dashboards.
  • Assists in completing a variety of benefit data analyses, surveys, reports, etc.
  • Support open enrollment, employee training, communication strategies, benchmarking analysis, employee engagement initiatives, and vendor reviews.
  • Prepare for annual renewal and assist in the benefit plan renewal process, including evaluation of vendors, processes and policies, making recommendations on improvements.
  • Assist with the outsourced procedure of the semi-monthly payroll process for US payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws utilizing the UKG Pro payroll system.
  • Ensure processing for new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations and other payroll changes is accurate and timely.
  • Ensure proper payment of bonuses, commissions, and other compensation.
  • Maintain accurate process documentation of payroll related processes.
  • Support the program administration for the 401(k), profit sharing and stock plans: answer employee questions, create and execute communication and education plan, and assist with annual audit with outside accounting firm.
  • Support HR Compliance, performance management, talent management and learning and development processes as needed.
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, requisition or onboarding of candidates and new hires.
  • Help manage and audit employee records, ensuring they are up to date and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Assist and supports audit activities including compliance reporting, RFP and DHQs requests, SOC Audit, Bank Audit and Insurance Workers Comp audit.
  • Participate in HR special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
