About The Position

The Tooling Technician is responsible for assembling, cleaning, servicing, testing, and repairing rental tools. Tooling consists of electrical/hydraulic pump, hydraulic press, and our patented swage tool. Technicians will be working directly with these tools and using other hand and power tools to assemble and maintain. Clerical work and minor shipping functions are also required. Pay rate: $19.50-$26.33/hour DOE.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and desire to work on tool maintenance and construction.
• Must be self-motivated and willing to motivate others.
• Extremely focused and detail oriented.
• Good communication skills both oral and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and email.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge of, or capable of learning, manufacturing software.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of equivalent experience preferred.
• A positive attitude.
• JD Edwards’ knowledge is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assembling tools, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing tools for rentals/service (80% of time).
• Clerical functions including data entry, communicating to rental department, and shipping for equipment movements (20% of time).
• Inspecting, disassembling, cleaning, repairing, assembling, testing, and shipping rental tools.
• Other duties as assigned, including training, physical inventory, production, and engineering assistance.
