About The Position

The Tooling Technician I at Primoris Energy Services in Hubbard, Texas, is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of various tools and equipment used in pipeline construction and other energy infrastructure projects. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation.
Ability to learn and apply new technical skills quickly.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and a physically demanding environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with mechanical work or general tool usage is preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and basic repairs on a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and light machinery.
Assist with the calibration and testing of specialized tools and equipment under supervision.
Clean, organize, and maintain the tooling inventory and workshop area.
Track tool usage, location, and maintenance records.
Identify and report damaged or worn tools requiring repair or replacement.
Load and unload tools and equipment for transport to and from job sites.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies related to tool handling, maintenance, and workshop operations.
Collaborate with field crews and other technicians to support their tooling needs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Tooling Supervisor or Lead Technician.
