Primary functions of this role are the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of tooling and equipment used on an Inkjet Manufacturing Final Assembly Line. Responsibilities include the repair and preventive maintenance of motor drivers, conveyor systems, vision systems, cylinders, online test and inspection equipment, ink delivery systems, fixtures, lift mechanisms, and pallet shuttle systems. The role also performs lockout/tagout procedures, works with approved cleaning chemicals, and supports the modification of existing tooling as well as the installation and commissioning of new tooling for the assembly line. In addition, this role is responsible for streamlining common initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams, and executing work that meets quality standards and project timelines. The position identifies opportunities to improve processes, tools, and documentation, conducts design and operational reviews, and supports the development of scalable systems and solutions. Working closely with platform architects, engineers, and project managers, the role applies structured problem-solving and design-thinking methodologies to translate requirements into actionable solutions, facilitate research and analysis, and ensure successful project execution.
