About The Position
This role is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing extrusion tooling to the required standard for production. The technician will perform various maintenance tasks on tooling components, including disassembly, assembly, and polishing. Effective communication regarding tooling condition and a commitment to a safe and clean work environment are essential. The role may also involve operating a reach truck and assisting other maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities
- Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/Procedures
- Disassemble extrusion tooling and insure proper assembly
- Perform Maintenance on extrusion tooling as directed
- Disassemble purged-in dies
- Polish die, templates, and calibration as needed
- Communicate wear and damage to immediate supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Operate Reach truck as needed
- Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel
- All other duties as assigned
