Tooling Maintenance Technician
About The Position
This role is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and preparing extrusion tooling to the required standard for production. The primary duties involve cleaning and inspecting extrusion tooling components according to VEKA Policy/Procedures, disassembling and ensuring proper assembly of extrusion tooling, performing maintenance as directed, disassembling purged-in dies, polishing dies, templates, and calibration as needed, communicating wear and damage to the supervisor, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and operating a reach truck as needed. Secondary duties include assisting supervision and tooling maintenance personnel, and performing other assigned duties.

Responsibilities
- Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/Procedures
- Disassemble extrusion tooling and insure proper assembly
- Perform Maintenance on extrusion tooling as directed
- Disassemble purged-in dies
- Polish die, templates, and calibration as needed
- Communicate wear and damage to immediate supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Operate Reach truck as needed
- Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel
- All other duties as assigned
