About The Position

The Tool Room Technician will be responsible for producing mold components using various tools and machinery, ensuring accuracy through precise measurements, assembling molds, performing welding tasks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mold maker or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software for mold design.
• Strong understanding of mold assembly techniques and the use of hand tools.
• Experience with micrometers and other precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and machining equipment such as lathes, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining to produce mold components.
• Measure and inspect mold parts using precision instruments like micrometers to ensure accuracy.
• Assemble molds according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for mold assembly and repair.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mold production and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
