About The Position

The role of the Toolroom Quality Inspector is to inspect calibration documents, periodic inspections, and inspections of repaired tools. The Toolroom Quality Inspector is responsible for records and ensures that proper controls and processes are followed per company procedure. The Toolroom Quality Inspector coordinates with toolroom management and advises toolroom management of the status of calibration, maintenance, and repairs of tooling. This position takes direction from the Toolroom Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies and procedures that meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Must have excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Generate reports for replacement or repairs as assigned.
• Creates and maintains records as assigned in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain the calibration program within calibration intervals.
• Maintain the inspection program within inspection intervals.
• Assign a unique identification to a tool and maintain relevant records.
