As a Tool Room Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization, inventory, inspection, and distribution of tools and equipment that support daily yard and field operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in a tool room, warehouse, construction, rigging, industrial, or similar environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and construction equipment.
  • Team player with a go-getter attitude
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Issue, receive, and track tools, equipment, and supplies for employees and project crews.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using company inventory management systems.
  • Inspect tools and equipment for damage, wear, and safety compliance.
  • Organize, clean, and store tools and equipment in designated locations.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and replacement of damaged equipment.
  • Receive, unpack, and verify shipments of tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Monitor tool usage and report shortages, losses, or equipment concerns.
  • Prepare equipment and tools for field deployment and project mobilization.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized tool room and work area.
  • Support yard operations and other duties as assigned.
