About The Position

The jobsite located in Stanton, TX has an opening for a Tool Room Attendant. Our Team Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is an engineering/construction company headquartered in Katy, TX with an expertise in the natural gas, natural gas liquids, and petrochemical industries. OPD is part of the larger Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) organization which provides a variety of capabilities across many industries. Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous experience as a Tool Room Attendant
  • Must be able to read, write & communicate in English
  • Must be willing and able to work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week
  • Must be able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetings
  • Must be able meet all physical requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a heavy industrial construction environment
  • 3+ years of previous experience as a Tool Room Attendant
  • Previous experience as a Helper

Responsibilities

  • Stores, removes, loads and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that can't be handled by material handling devices.
  • Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves.
  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
  • Assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size type, style, or color.
  • Moves materials and supplies from warehouse and prepares for delivery.
  • Fills requisition, work orders or request for materials, tools or stock items.
  • Records material items received or distributed.
  • May maintain inventory records.
  • Actively participate in a strong safety culture
  • Recognize safety hazards and risks
  • Participate in onsite safety meetings
  • Follow OPD and client safety policies and procedures
  • Be aware of changing conditions on an active jobsite
  • Be on time to the jobsite each day ready for work
  • Display a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment
  • High attention to detail to avoid reworks and errors
