About The Position

Control Air Enterprises LLC is hiring an organized, timely, and respectful Tool Room Attendant for its Shop division at the company headquarters in Anaheim, California. The role is responsible for controlling inventory of items maintained in the Tool Room, preparing and issuing tools and supplies to jobsite personnel, and maintaining tool identification and records. The attendant will also restock tooling dispensing machines and conduct scheduled inventory cycle counts. The position calls for basic mechanical skills with hand tools, familiarity with identifying power tools, general computer experience, and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. The stated pay range is $18–$25 per hour. Control Air Enterprises is a 100% employee-owned mechanical contracting firm with more than 42 years in business and over 1,000 employees. It works across construction, tenant improvement, industrial, plumbing, retrofit, service, controls, energy commissioning, and detailing, with headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Anaheim and additional offices in San Diego and Hayward.

Requirements

Basic hand-tool mechanical skills, including using screwdrivers, wrenches, and sockets.
Familiarity with identifying different types of power tools.
General computer experience.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Organized, timely, and respectful.

Responsibilities

Control inventory of items maintained in the Tool Room.
Generate Pull Tickets and tag tools and equipment.
Verify packing slips for deliveries or will-call orders when issuing tools and supplies to jobsite personnel.
Assign labels and barcode systems.
Tag new tools with proper identification and record them in the Tool Track system.
Restock tooling dispensing machines daily or as needed.
Conduct scheduled inventory cycle counts of Tool Room inventory.
