About The Position

Carlson Tool & Manufacturing is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Tool Maker to join their growing team. The Tool Maker will support the design, build, refurbishment, and reverse engineering of plastic injection molds for various industries in a clean, climate-controlled, well-equipped facility. This role is ideal for individuals who take ownership, enjoy problem-solving, and prefer a focused second shift environment.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker is required.
Proven expertise in Plastic Injection Molds is required.
The ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering designs and CAD models.

Responsibilities

Support the design, build, refurbishment, and reverse engineering of plastic injection molds.
Analyze specifications, set up and operate machine tools.
Fit and assemble components to fabricate and repair metalworking dies.
Assist with plastic injection mold builds through all stages.
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
