About The Position

ABB is hiring for its Tooling team. The role supports tooling operations by carrying out maintenance activities according to established guidelines and procedures, with a focus on improving equipment and production-line efficiency. The position is onsite and reports to the Tooling Planner/Supervisor. The schedule is 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed to meet customer demand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software, specifically Excel and Word.
• Working knowledge of inventory accuracy and cycle counting.
• Ability to research and resolve problems or issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Sort and arrange tools for storage according to guidelines.
• Carry out routine activities according to established procedures.
• Pick components from stock for dispatch.
• Sharpen tooling, including taps and chasers, as needed using machining equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
