About The Position
Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Maize, KS, is looking for a Tool and Die Set-up with a proven track record to join our team. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work 12 hour, day or night shift
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test

- Computer and mechanical ability preferred
Responsibilities
- Repairs/Changes and maintains extrusion tooling, barrel and screw components
- Responsible for the changes of die components for pipe diameter size set up of bellers and saws
- Advanced knowledge of extrusion process
- Mechanical ability to troubleshoot extruders, saws or downstream equipment
- knowledge of wall thickness and pipe diameters
- Poses skills to set up equipment with critical tolerances
- Assist extruder operators with start-ups
- Comply with lockout-tagout and all safety regulations
