About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Tool & Die / Tool Room Technician to support our manufacturing operations through fixture fabrication, tooling repair, equipment troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys machining, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with experience in injection molding, tooling, machining, fabrication, or industrial maintenance are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Tool & Die Maker Certification or equivalent experience
- Ability to safely operate tool room equipment and machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities
- Build, modify, and repair: Fixtures, Jigs, Workstations, Tooling, Assembly equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and tooling issues on production equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Operate tool room equipment including: CNC milling machines, Lathes, Surface grinders, Drill presses, Band saws, Press brakes
- Use precision measurement equipment such as: Calipers, Micrometers, Dial indicators, Depth gauges, Thread gauges
- Assist with installation and setup of new or revised manufacturing equipment and processes
- Perform tooling changeovers, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities
- Coordinate heat treating and outside vendor tooling services
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Maintain organized work areas using 5S principles
- Document tooling activity and maintain inventory of tool room supplies
