About The Position

As Tool & Die Maker in our Automation group, you’ll use your hands-on skill and problem-solving mindset to bring complex tooling and automation systems to life—from assembly and install to final debug. Working alongside engineering and manufacturing, you’ll play a key role in delivering precision solutions that meet exacting standards and keep critical projects moving forward. This is a role for someone who thrives on craftsmanship, ownership, and seeing their work perform in the real world.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of precision machining and grinding processes.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications; SolidWorks preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5–10%)
  • Must be a U.S citizen and be able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to wear required PPE.

Nice To Haves

  • Tool & Die experience preferred.
  • Automation system assembly experience preferred.
  • Tool and die assembly experience preferred.
  • Completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan assembly shop project workflows to meet delivery schedules.
  • Assemble, troubleshoot, and debug precision tooling and automation systems.
  • Install industrial automation systems and tooling at customer sites.
  • Perform field service, repairs, and maintenance on customer equipment.
  • Determine assembly methods, sequences, and system integration strategies.
  • Support controls installation and system debugging.
  • Participate in project kick-off and product realization meetings.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
  • Provide technical support across engineering, manufacturing, and development phases.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve design or process challenges.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept testing for feasibility of new projects.
