This position involves the repair, maintenance, and improvement of all tools and fixtures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Ability to use all hand measurement tools
• Ability to assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required
• Ability to safely operate all tool room equipment inclusive of Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
• Ability to trouble shoot and resolve tooling problems
• Ability to work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
• Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment
• Ability to read and interpret tooling drawings

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman certification and/or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities
