Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
5+ years of tool & die maintenance experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working specifically with Spunbond (bico/mono) and Meltblown dies.
Technical degree or certification in Tool & Die, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
Knowledge of polymer flow, extrusion processes, or nonwoven manufacturing principles.
Certification in lifting equipment and powered industrial vehicles.

Responsibilities

Ensure team compliance with all safety procedures related to tooling, equipment, and cleaning processes.
Lead safety audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Enforce safe work practices and stop unsafe work when necessary.
Oversee routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on tooling and dies.
Ensure proper inspection, repair, and reassembly of tooling.
Monitor tooling condition and ensure adherence to tolerance and quality standards.
Lead and coordinate die installation, removal, and changeovers.
Ensure proper alignment and process readiness.
Drive continuous improvement in changeover efficiency.
Lead root cause analysis of tooling issues.
Serve as a primary technical resource for production teams.
Drive corrective and preventive actions.
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Prioritize maintenance based on risk and production needs.
Analyze tooling performance data.
Lead, mentor, and develop technicians.
Coordinate daily maintenance activities.
Ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards.
Drive accountability for performance and results.
