Eaton’s Carol Stream facility is seeking motivated candidates to join the Apprentice Tool & Die Maker program. This is a structured, long-term career development opportunity designed to prepare individuals for a skilled Tool & Die Maker role through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on, mentored on-the-job training. We make the electric revolution work. Every day, we improve people’s lives and the environment by delivering power management technologies that are reliable, efficient, safe, and sustainable. Preparing for the future of manufacturing takes the passion and commitment of every employee—and this apprenticeship program is a critical part of building that future. Position Overview: The Apprentice Tool & Die Maker participates in a multi-year, progressive training program intended to develop fully qualified Tool & Die Makers. Apprentices receive formal classroom instruction alongside structured on-the-job training (OJT) under the guidance of experienced mentors. Advancement and pay progression are based on demonstrated skill mastery, successful completion of coursework, and sustained job performance—not tenure alone. The program is designed to address workforce continuity, develop internal talent, preserve institutional knowledge, and support long-term business growth.
