About The Position

At Winward Electric, we keep projects moving, and behind every great crew is someone making sure the right tools show up at the right time. We're looking for a Tool Crib Attendant who enjoys staying organized, keeping things running smoothly, and being the go-to person for "Hey, where's that tool we need?"

This role is for someone who likes staying organized, helping a team run efficiently, and being the behind-the-scenes problem solver.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in warehouse, inventory, tools, or construction environments is a plus
• Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and general shop equipment
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, tracking tools, etc.)
• Strong organization skills-you like order, not chaos
• Someone dependable who shows up and follows through
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally when needed

Responsibilities

• Issuing and receiving tools, equipment, and supplies to the team
• Keeping inventory tight, accurate, and actually making sense
• Checking tools back in, inspecting condition, and making sure everything is ready for the next job
• Tracking tools in inventory software
• Coordinating repairs, replacements, and maintenance so nothing falls behind
• Keeping the tool crib clean, organized, and easy to navigate
• Supporting onboarding by training new team members on tool use and accountability
• Running tools/materials locally when needed (quick errands, not cross-country trips)
• Keeping calibration schedules on track so equipment stays job-ready
• Helping make sure tools don't mysteriously "walk away"
