About The Position

Flextrades is hiring Tool/Die Techs with 5+ years of recent experience for a 3-6 month contract in Connecticut. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of progressive stamping dies. The position offers guaranteed pay and per diem, with hotel accommodations and travel time compensation provided. References and ITAR documentation are required, along with passing a background check and drug test.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Tool & Die, tooling repair, or progressive stamping experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining progressive dies.
• Experience setting up production stamping presses from 60T to 330T.
• Progressive stamping background required.
• Knowledge of Wintriss controls.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and production quality requirements.
• ITAR documentation required.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• References Required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in medical, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair progressive stamping dies and tooling.
• Set up and support production stamping presses ranging from 60-ton to 330-ton capacity.
• Read and evaluate progressive strips to diagnose tooling and production issues.
• Inspect parts and verify quality requirements during setup and production runs.
• Support tool changeovers, die installations, and production startup activities.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and related material handling equipment.
