About The Position

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. This position operates tool cutter/grinder machines to safely produce tools that meet Graco quality requirements at the lowest cost and in a timely manner. This position is on 2nd shift - Monday through Thursday - 2PM - 12AM.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year machining experience
• Basic Math
• Basic Blueprint and/or (Measurement Skills for Manufacturing)
• Math for Machinists
• Blue Print Reading for Machinists
• SPC Theory (as required)
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT).

Nice To Haves

• Vo-Tech Tool and Cutter Training a plus
• CNC background a plus

Responsibilities

• Sharpening of standard tools to include (but not limited to): drills, reamers, taps, chasers, and end mills.
• Machine selection, setup, and operation under supervision.
• Abrasive wheel selection, setup, and dressing under supervision.
• Determine sharpening requirements/salvage.
• Other duties as assigned.
