About The Position

Receives and stores tools, equipment and supplies and issues them to yard employees. Keeps a log of tools and materials that have been issued, follow up to ensure that items are returned as scheduled and in good working order. Tracks inventory and orders new material and supplies when necessary. Orders parts and material to repair equipment. Stores repaired equipment in appropriate areas for easy retrieval.

Requirements

• Knowledge of tools and materials.
• 6 months - 2 years' prior experience in inventory control.
• Familiar with drawings and blueprints.
• Prior experience in a shipyard environment.
