About The Position

Under immediate supervision, collect tolls at an international bridge on an assigned shift. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED, or higher.
• One (1) year of cashiering or cash handling experience.
• One (1) year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect tolls from passing vehicles and pedestrians in both United States (U.S.) and Mexican currency and make correct change.
• Operate personal computer to process vehicular traffic by proper classification.
• Monitor traffic to refer vehicles to U.S. or Mexican Customs for inspection.
• Count daily collections, reconcile receipts, prepare daily reports and securely deposit receipts at end of shift.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints from the general public, provide directions and information, and assist in resolving problems.
• Interact with a wide range of border patrol, customs and other security personnel, coworkers and the public.
• Perform duties of coworkers as necessary to ensure continuity of operations during absences.
• Advise supervisor in a timely manner of situations, issues or complaints that have or could lead to deviation from expected results.
