About The Position

The CM&S Site Support Services is seeking a TNO Rental Coordinator. CM&S Division is seeking a TNO Rental Coordinator which will report under the supervision of a Site Support Services Area Manager with a dotted line to the Projects Controls Manager.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at TNO in maintenance and/or operations. (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of rental experience. (Preferred)
  • Technical expertise from formal rental training and/or work experience.
  • Broad experience with rentals/rental equipment.
  • Knowledge of process industry related safety and environmental policies and programs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Zero Incident Mindset safety program.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power Bi.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete a variety of seemingly unrelated tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully with a broad range of people.
  • Ability to plan ahead and handle many details.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a focal point (Control Tower) for site rental asset management.
  • Develop daily cadence to monitor execution groups’ planning and scheduling systems to identify asset needs, evaluate availability and make daily decision on allocation of Eastman owned items assets and use of Eastman owned items vs rental assets to meet site needs.
  • Identify analysis tools / metrics needed for successful management of the program; work with internal, supplier and contractor resources to develop the needed tools/metrics
  • Drive related work process documentation as well as identify, develop, and implement improvements
  • Coordinate support activities provided by others in Site Support Services, Operations, Capital, CM&S, and Contractors
  • Regularly communicate Eastman owned items and rental issues to involved parties and management, including milestones achieved, concerns identified, and changes implemented.
  • Serve as functional point of contact with rental suppliers and internal rental point persons.
  • Drive performance requirements, improvements, and metrics for rental
  • Develop work process and metrics to drive prompt release of rental items
  • Monitor rental asset usage data, evaluate cost options, and make recommendations on purchase vs rent
  • Work with rental suppliers to establish equipment life cycle, equipment condition, and service record
  • Validate rental invoices
  • Govern the management of Eastman owned items asset inventory and allocation.
  • Develop and monitor metrics on Eastman owned items utilization to identify and implement improvements in inventory
  • Develop system to monitor equipment needs and usage to optimize equipment utilization and availability
  • Evaluate repair options and determine repair vs replace; hand-off management of maintenance of Eastman owned items assets
  • Provide leadership in development and implementation of improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Rental supplier(s) facility and technology improvements to reduce Eastman cost, including: Eastman owned items utilization, Site tool processes
  • Identify and develop appropriate management tools/metrics. (ex: automation)
  • Analyze metrics to identify potential improvement opportunities
  • Propose improvement plan of action to management
  • Implement improvements as approved
  • Conduct field observations and follow-up on Eastman owned items and rental asset utilization. Assignments could include: Conduct field safety observations and audits and provide feedback. Monitor equipment and tool work techniques, condition, and user behaviors. Conduct field studies to gather data and track equipment/tool utilization. Conduct audits of supplier service schedule compliance, equipment reliability, etc. Periodically audit supplier metrics data to verify reasonability. Review metrics to identify actionable trends and provide data for periodic management reviews.
  • Uses computers to: Access procedures and other information. Access and complete required training. Input/retrieve data from various software systems. Monitor performance metrics.
