About The Position

The Title Specialist II provides essential administrative and transactional support to vehicle operations, including auctions, logistics, inspections, and dealer services. This role is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation while ensuring all records are accurately prepared, verified, and maintained in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will deliver efficient administrative support and uphold high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably within automotive, logistics, or related industries.
  • 3+ years of experience with vehicle titles, registrations, or DMV-related documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Valid Driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • Drug Testing To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Responsibilities

  • Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of all title documents.
  • Process title reassignments, releases, corrections, and other related transactions.
  • Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies to resolve title issues.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and applicable state regulations.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding titles to ensure timely completion.
  • Update internal systems with accurate title status, notes, and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding title requirements and processes.
