About The Position

This position is for a Title I Sign Language Aide III working in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) program, specifically in a one-on-one capacity at Warren Elementary School. The role involves supporting students through sign language within a 9-month, 7-hour per day schedule.

Requirements

High school graduation or other equivalent (General Educational Development [GED], foreign equivalency, etc.).
Minimum of 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university, or; A passing score on the Educational Testing Service (ETS) ParaPro assessment.
Signing abilities as determined by a Clark County School District (CCSD) - approved test.
Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or similar organization. Certification must be maintained for duration of assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted.
High school transcript or other equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
College transcript(s) from an accredited college or university, if applicable.
Current CPR/AED certificate as indicated above. A copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.
Specific documented evidence of training and experience to satisfy qualifications.
