About The Position
This position is for a Title I Math Instructional Aide at Grand Prairie Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is part-time, 0.5 FTE, for 10 months, with working hours from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The aide will support students in grades K-2.
Requirements
- Professional Educator's License (PEL) with one of the following endorsements: Elementary Education with a single math course, Self-Contained General Education (SCGE, B-3), Self-Contained General Education (SCGE, K-9), or Self-Contained General Education (SCGE, 1-6).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in elementary school settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional support in mathematics to students in grades K-2.
- Assist teachers in implementing Title I math programs.
- Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce math concepts.
