About The Position

Provides nationwide title services and supports real estate transactions by searching public records and examining property titles to determine their legal condition. The role is part of a production center, branch office, or title team and contributes to assessing property insurability. This individual contributor works under direct supervision with little autonomy, follows defined procedures, and handles straightforward problems using existing processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Typically requires 0–2 years of related work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working in the Michigan market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile, investigate, and examine public and tax records to determine title liabilities, the legal condition of a title, and property insurability.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company examining and policy procedures.
• Perform support functions to assist departmental processes.
• Follow defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
• Communicate with internal and/or external clients and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
