Title Examiner (Texas)
About The Position
The Title Examiner researches ownership histories for land parcels using public records and other sources. The role verifies that title packages are prepared appropriately based on the abstract findings and state regulations. It reviews and manages a high-volume queue of orders for residential and/or commercial loans and works with abstractors, other examiners, underwriters, and the Title Clearance team to provide clear, marketable title. The examiner is expected to meet minimum production goals and quality metrics. This is a hybrid position working Tuesday through Thursday in Rocket's Fort Worth, Texas office.
Requirements
- Current Texas title license, or willingness to obtain one.
- At least 2 years of title examination, title clearance, and/or title abstracting experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively, including differentiating requirements among multiple clients and loan types.
