About The Position

Collectors is hiring a meticulous and knowledgeable Title and Description Editor to help ensure the accuracy and authenticity of auction titles and maintain collectors’ and buyers’ trust. The role focuses heavily on graded trading card game (TCG) cards, while also involving sports and non-sports cards and memorabilia. The position reports to the Operations Manager and is based in New Castle, Delaware. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of graded sports and non-sports cards, including brands, players, variations, and market demand.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct inaccuracies or misleading information.
• Strong understanding of Google Sheets and basic computer skills.
• Excellent research skills and ability to validate title accuracy using information from various sources.
• Familiarity with online auction platforms and e-commerce practices.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Prior experience in the card collecting or trading field.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of auction titles, particularly for graded TCG cards, so titles clearly and concisely represent the items.
• Research graded cards and memorabilia to validate information in titles.
• Collaborate with the auction listing team to review and improve title descriptions and resolve discrepancies or misleading information.
• Stay current on trends, market values, and card specifications to ensure accurate titles.
• Cross-reference product photography with title descriptions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Work with customer service to address feedback and inquiries about title accuracy and make revisions as needed.
• Assist the operations team as needed.
