About The Position

The TireHub Logistics Center Leader is responsible for all logistics center activities, employees, inventory, and assets. The role communicates TireHub objectives, missions, and direction for the location, with a focus on safety and customer service, and ensures employees and contractors follow company policies and procedures. The position reports to a Regional Operations Leader or Area Operations Leader.

The leader oversees daily center operations, including opening and closing, equipment safety, expenses, inventory quality, and end-of-day paperwork. The role collaborates with the Sales Team and corporate and regional resources to support customers, address human resources needs, and manage workers’ compensation claims. The position also leads teams, provides training, manages performance, and executes operational and financial objectives.

Work may take place in non-climate-controlled warehouses and at customer locations. The role may involve extended day, evening, and weekend hours, including Saturdays, and driving at night or in inclement weather. Physical duties include moving tires and regularly standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing. Handling hazardous materials and using protective equipment may be required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of applicable work experience, with a heavy focus on operations and warehouse management.
• Experience with KPI management.
• Supervisor or management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of effectively managing projects and teams.
• Process improvement experience.
• Experience leading day-to-day operations in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to establish accountability, measure work, and drive performance toward objectives.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires weighing up to 50 pounds or greater, with or without mechanical assistance and in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
• May be required to handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment such as gloves and protective eyewear.
• Ability to meet vision requirements that may include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
• May be required to work extended days, evenings, and weekends, including Saturdays, with little or no advance notice.
• May be required to drive at night or in inclement weather.
• Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment and safety-restraint compatibility requirements; reasonable accommodations will be reviewed under applicable laws.

• Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
