About The Position
The Sales & Service position is responsible for selling, servicing, and maintaining tires and wheels while providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The role includes tire and wheel installation and maintenance, tire repair and rotation, wheel balancing, TPMS service, battery testing and installation, equipment use and maintenance, test driving vehicles, and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. Employees also assist coworkers, promote store sales, and use the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. On-the-job training is offered.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
- Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling; continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain tires and wheels.
- Repair, rotate, and inflate tires; attach and rebalance wheels.
- Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate TPMS as needed.
- Wash tires and wheels.
- Test and install batteries.
- Use and maintain equipment.
- Assist other employees.
- Test drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales using the Best Tire Value Promise.
