About The Position
McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a Pad Tire Technician to perform truck tire service, repairs, and related duties in their shop. This role is ideal for someone looking for a career path with opportunities for growth and to be part of a strong, diverse team. The position offers a pay rate of $16.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires.
- Tire mounting and dismounting experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work involving lifting, standing, repetitive motion, awkward positions, and vibration.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check.
Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace tires for customers in the shop.
- Follow safety procedures, company policies, and service instructions.
- Participate in training and perform other duties as assigned.
