About The Position

This position is responsible for the overhaul and repair of aircraft brake assemblies according to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) requirements. The mechanic will follow procedures, processes, and inspection techniques using various equipment, ensuring proper tracking and documentation of activities and parts control. The role requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, as well as follow safety rules and procedures, and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to provide verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, keyboards, and various software programs.
• Working knowledge of shipping processes.
• Must have reliable transportation to work.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug test and background check.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written skills
• Proven organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to explain how and why specific conclusions were reached.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to remain flexible to changing schedules and demands.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with general aviation or corporate jet aircraft preferred.
• Some college and/or technical school desirable.
