Tire Technician (Seasonal)
About The Position
As a Tire Technician at Belle Tire, you provide tire services to keep customers moving, including installation, maintenance, repairs, and rotations. The role suits someone passionate about working on cars and committed to outstanding customer service, and involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality. The Tire Technician is described as the core of the business and a potential starting point for a career at Belle Tire. The position is based in a tire and automotive service retail store. It involves a fast-paced workshop setting, varying work hours Monday through Saturday, and possible overtime. Physical demands include extended standing, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Compensation is $15 to $17.50 per hour. The position is seasonal.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a customer-first mindset.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in tire services or automotive repair.
Responsibilities
- Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on customer vehicles.
- Ensure work meets Belle Tire's quality and safety standards, including cleaning hubs and wheels for corrosion.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
